does rockbox work on ipod min 2nd gen?

i have a 6gb ipod mini 2nd gen. will the new ipod port version of rockbox work on the ipod mini, or will it kill my player if i try to load it on? has anyone tried it yet?

Right now, there is no bootloader or even daily build for the mini available. this means right now, you cannot even install it on the mini, at least how i understood it. But they make very fast progress over at Rockbox. Just today they added versions for the greyscale 4g, and they finally got sound working on the 5G (still very buggy). So you can hope that the mini version is just a matter of time!

Just wanted to update this thread for people with the Ipod Mini. There is now a version of Rockbox that works with the Mini.
