some of my tracks start out with vocals acapella or just spoken and then the music ques in. Sometimes, they add that 'old tyme' flavor to it adding clicks/pops or newsreel sounds to match the theme of the sound or the music video. Does it bother you? Not only do i have put up with a noise floor hiss above 70% but this too? come on sometimes i feel like i wanna edit out those intros or something.

I can only think of 1 CD I have that has an old time intro, and it's not really an intro. John Cougar Mellencamp, Scarecrow CD, 2nd track is Grandma's Theme, 3rd track is Small Town. Grandma's Theme has the pops / noise and generally sounds like crap. About the time someone asks whats wrong with my equipment or "what are you listening to", Small Town kicks in.

I'm glad I don't have others with this theme. One is OK. How many do you have?
