Does MX500 last long?

Well I had mine for about 4 months and they are still in perfect condition. They are of hard plastic and should last. In contary, the cord seems very weak and fragile, even though I had no problems with mine. I store them in the case that came with them so they don't break. It helps.

I've had mine for over a year. I almost never use the case, and instead just throw the headphones in my briefcase on my daily commute. I have had no problems with them, and they still essentially look brand new. I don't think durability will be a problem with these phones at all -- in my experience they are extremely sturdy (and I have a history of destroying earbuds).

I have had mine about 3 months. I carry them with me daily in the case. I have gone through my second set of Radio Shack pads due mostly I believe to the difficulty in outting them on. Since they are ony $16 I never really thought about how long they would last.

ive dropped my harddrive mp3 player almost ten times, everytime adding stress to cords on the mx500.

These buds are still doing fine.

Go buy it.

Nobody has mentioned yet that they SUCK. I'm surprised.

They really aren't good headphones at all.

I disagree. While they do not have the sound quality of say a $100+ headphone, for $15 they are pretty damn good earbuds. I've compared them to various others, and I seem to prefer the MX500's.

Damn, I hope they don't suck too much. I just order me a pair.

For earbuds I have been very pleased. ESPECIALLY at the price point of $16.

Don't worry about your order, Mace. Let them burn in (I got more bass after burn-in), realize that they are NOT $100 phones, and enjoy the portable sound.

I've been pleased with my decision to buy them.

Maybe that's because they don't suck. They sound great if your ears are big enough to accomodate them. I haven't found a better earbud for the price.

I have had my MX500's for a year and they have held up fine.
