i had civ 3 a month before it was actually released...ah......the goodness of having ahem *software connections*....

its pretty fun....and ya if your civ is big and you attack a small civ they will give u almost anything for a peace treaty....

I was a nut for Civ2, but by the time Civ3 came out my job had become too demanding

. When I get home after a full day of planning, tech work and office politics, I don't want more careful planning and politics in my game...maybe if I go on a long vacation, I'll get to enjoy Civ again. These days I play FPS and RPGs.

And that makes CivIII the best TBS.

And jlo, the money trick also works if you're the small nation. Just go to war, ask for a treaty and 999999999999..... per turn. They will even agree to give you all their cities! A bug i am sure.
