Does anyone know ways of identifying a fake Sennheiser Momentum?

So I have had these headphones for a year and I wrote a review of them today. I was unimpressed with the build quality and eh about the sound quality. Someone suggested that I check the inside of the headphones for a white sticker with a number on it which you can see here http://i.imgur.com/HBj2vDb.jpg I got my headphones from VMinnovations some time in June of last year. My biggest concern with them is that the headband feels flimsy. I can bend it into a position and it doesn't go back to it's original position. Someone told me that theirs didn't do that. I don't know if VMinnovations ripped me off or what. I bought a Sennheiser Amperior from them and I ended up exchanging it for the Sennheiser Momentums. I want to absolutely sure that these aren't counterfeit. I certainly don't feel like they're very good headphones. I gave them a 50% review (2.5/5 stars). They could just be half ass headphones, but then again they could be fake. If you have any ideas of ways to confirm if it's fake or legitimate I would be happy to test them.

Thanks.

You're not alone! I didn't really like the Momentums either.

I don't think any fakes are out yet, unless you're talking about these:

I am definitely not talking about those.

Checking that thread, mine haven't met any of the criteria that could prove it's a fake. All the brand names are laser etched onto the metal. The little piece of metal on the side of the headphones with the word Sennheiser on it isn't plastic. My plug does bend at a 90 degree angle. The headband is well cut. The button on mine looks fine. The seem on the frame is uniform in patter. It has the telltale sticker under the right ear pad.

I guess the chords really do just suck. As for the headband, that is the one thing I am concerned about. A guy told me that he can't bend his out of shape without applying "really alarming brute force". That is not the case with my headband. So I'm still not 100% sure that mine aren't fake. Even though I got them from a reputable seller.
