Does anyone have this amp?

That is just about the neatest layout for a cmoy I've ever seen.

Are you on a quest to own every single sub-$100 portable amp available?

i have been on the quest to find a ~100 dollar amp for the last week. it was down to this amp, go-vibe, pa2v2, or the twinstarr black.

i ordered one of these despite the lack of info available. it seems to have a similar design to the twinstarr amp. i did want a dc jack, so that made this one even more appealing.

i should have mine sometime this week. it looks like a good design built w/ high quality parts

I would be interested in your thoughts as well. I am looking for something better than my RA-1 clone and my X-Cans is not very portable for HD-600's. Doees look like a very neatly laid out design.

Will let you know how it sounds. This will do nicely until the Hornet is available!

i ordered the same combo.

i don't have any portables here to compare it to, and hopefully i won't feel the need to purchase any more, so once you get the hornet, you'll have to let everyone know how it compares.

i like how the dude lists the parts/numbers that he used. it makes me confident to but from people w/ nothing to hide about their products.

Figure he's basicly getting paid for his skills as a builder. Nothing wrong with that. Look at the Grado RA-1. It has like a $12 OPA and they get a nice chunk of change for one of those.

A replacement opamp for the RA1 will cost you about a quarter but you got a good point.

You bet. I have a good feeling about this investment. Good feedback and communication so far with the guy. Only problem he wasn't much help with the DC adapter. Any clues on where I can obtain one?

Love the layout!
