hey.last night i wanted to convert my entire library from flac-whatever to flac-8. after doing so foobar says some files are converted with major errors. is that a drop in quality?

It will probably sound like a glitch in a small segment of the file, like a pop, or a brief moment of static. The files are segmented into blocks, most likely only one block is affected. One block would be just a fraction of a second.
