Do you use headphones mainly at home or portably?

As with probably most people, my first headphone was a portable one but with all my portable headphones collecting dust lately, my priorities clearly shifted from portable to home listening.

So I'm just curious whether this is the normal trend or in contrary.

(Poll is public and multiple choice)

For now, it's 50/50. My speaker system is in a mess, so until everything is sorted out, I listen to music on headphones at home as well. I am sure that will change once the speaker system gets set up again.

Mostly I listen at home. Only time I use my portable is either when I am going to sleep which is still at home use or when I go to the gym/skating.

During the summer I use them at home and at work, but I'd say it's about 50/50 for home and portable use during the school year. I don't know what I'd do without my tunes while I'm on campus and at the library...

Ah multiple choice...well damn. I probably could've added "priorities shifted from portable to home". Oh well, it still is home.

I use most of my headphones on my main setup but when I am around the house and away from the main setup I plug whichever headphone I am using in the main rig into my ipod photo. My two favourites for the ipod are the Ps-1's and L3000's.

They are easy to drive and the L3000 is easier to drive than the Ps-1's. Funnily eough I am not that keen on the PS-1's apart from when I use it for my ipod and psp.

Though I voted for Home, my main rig and the majority of my listening is done at work. I use the stationary setup more than my portable rig. If I really want to listen at home I use my portable rig...kinda backwards but I hardly listen at home.
