I've never sent a text and probably never will. Just seems like it's a lot easier calling someone.

You have to text because sometimes In the business world, phone calls are not answered.

You need to try texting. It’s fun! Try it.

Just saw this reply. This was 11 years ago and I’ve certainly changed my ways and send plenty of text every day, mainly for business. I suppose in 09 I could have avoid texting, but not now

The cool thing with text messages is that it’s kind of like Morse code but easy to understand

I like texting because if im just looking to get some quick info i can forgo all the niceties and social conventions that are required when you call someone. The hellos and how are yous and small talk before you get to the meat of the purpose and then the goodbye. Not that I mind that with friends and family when I want to catch up. But if I just want to spend 5 seconds to get some info as opposed to 5-10 minutes to complete a call then texting is perfect.
