Do you have a new-gear ritual? What is it?

I have my first big real headphone upgrade coming in the mail today-- the HD6XX (650) and an JDS Labs Element dac/amp. I'm so excited I'm planning out what I'll listen to first with them, maybe listen to a favorite record first through my vinyl setup or plug it straight into the PC then compare to the Element afterwards, etc.

What's your process? What song or album do you listen to first? What gear do you test with?
