Do you have a backup phone for your Etys?

If you're an Ety ER-4P/S user do you find that you need to have another phone around (most likely open) for situations where using Etys would not be applicable (like when people want to talk to you)? If so, what do you use? I don't have my Etys yet but when I do get them I plan to get the Alessandro MS1s as my secondary phones. They should be a nice, cheap alternative for when I can't use my superisolating babies.

Hardcore listening: SR225
All around listening: D66
Isolation: ER-6
Toss around listening: SportaPro

And the ety's are nowhere near my primary (or secondary.) No punch. Faint bass. Good for riding on the subway, but if the room is dead quiet my D66 take over (unless I'm at home, then it's the SR225's)

At work I will use the Koss Porta Pros or KSC-35 and sometimes the ATH-EM7.

At home I listen to HD600s, AKG-401 or Sony CD3000

On the road traveling nothing but the Etys

I have a pair of DT880s, used mostly for daytime listening, and my etys at night in bed.

I guess it can be, but it depends.

I find that while wearing the my ER4P, I'm visually more attentive to make up for the lack of ability to hear outside noise. That's just me though, so this may not be the case for everyone.

EDIT: Almost forgot... and to answer the topic question, I mostly use my E888 these days and I barely ever touch my ER4P anymore.

Maybe he take the bus, or a train, or a taxi, or, hell, maybe even a Limo.

I use the Koss KSC-35 at work though I'd prefer to use the Etys since it's just my portable rig. I use the Etys on the plane or bus and occasionally on the train, but haven't had done that yet this summer.

For me on the road means traveling mostly by limo and flying. I would never wear them driving.
