...grab a QTip, and scratch your ear canal?

I've done this a handfull of times. I'm just wondering if anyone else gets that weird itch they gotta scratch once in a while.

Yup - I use a mini jack and really dig around!

Keep your tips really clean and you find that this doesn't happen every time.

Never, ever do I dig around in my ears. I am cautious perhaps overly so about things other than earplug and my Etys going into my ears.

I find I do on some occasions, not very often though, maybe once every couple of weeks, but when I do, it itches like everything! I can't concentrate until I get it scratched.
