Do Ultimate Ear Phones Boxes Come with Seals on Box?

Howdy!

I bought Triple Fi's and I am wondering if the box normally comes with round clear seals on the box flaps? Seeing those seals made me think for sure they were a new unit, but after looking at the contents it seems that two of the ear tips are missing. The manual specifically states that there are two medium tips already on the unit and additionally, there are two mediums included in the bag. Well... there were only the 2 small, 2 large, 2 dual flange and 2 disposables in the bag.

So... either Ultimate Ears forgot to put the tips in the bag which seems unlikely to me, or the store put the seals on a returned box.

In the boxes I've seen, yes, if the unit has not been opened it should come with the seals you describe...but I'm not sure whether you get 2pr of mediums? I don't recall having that...

Knowing the seals are normal make me feel better as there is no way to take those off without peeling the box a bit, so it must be right from the factory.

Strange about the mediums as this is a quote from the manual

"Your Triple.fi earphones come with medium silicone ear tips already attached. Included with your earphones are the following additional ear tips:

1. single flange Silicone Ear Tips- 2 small, 2 medium and 2 large
2. Dual Flange Silcone Ear Tips
3. Disposable Foam Tips"

Did anyone get two sets of Mediums with their triple.fi's, on on unit and one in the bag?

So, there was only one extra pair of single flange silicon tips (plus the dual flange and the foams) included?

No... there was the dual flange, the foams, the small and the large single flange. No mediums. At this point it really does not matter as I know the box was sealed from the factory, but now I am curious as to the writing of the manual as it is very clear that there is one set on the headphones "and" one set in the ear tip kit.

Usually the mediums are already installed on the earphones in the box. The bag I have does not have a second pair of medium tips.

The medium tips should be on your TF. The rest should be in the bag.
