i'm a cheapskate. i love cheap stuff. if someone can make a great pair of expensive headphones, that's cool. but if they can make a great pair of cheap headphones, even better. to show what i'm saying, i have SR60's, PX200's, KSC35's, KSC50's, and KTX Pro's. and a pair of MX500's on order.
everyone knows that the grado SR60's give a taste of what the higher end stuff sounds like. but does the same apply to sennheiser? if so, does it go all the way down to their portable stuff like PX200's? reason i'm asking is because everyone seems to say that the PX100's are bass-heavy like KSC35's, but the PX200's are more balanced and smooth. so do they give the faintest trace of the family sound created by the HD600/580's?
just curious.
