i have been noticing this sometimes, and was wondering if anyone else suffers this too? for me it could be the band pressure (hd650), and volume of music, which is never that loud really.

Never experienced it. If I did, I'd take a long break (a few weeks) from listening to allow my ears to recover and then try again to see if it's gotten better.

Something that has been adviced in the past to reduce the clamping force of the HD600/HD650 is to clamp them over something that is somewhat larger than your head. They will loosen up after a while, but only a bit, so you don't have to worry about them falling off your head but they will have a (sometimes) much lighter fit.

No, I have never got headache from listening to headphones.
Not even after those 7-8 hours listening sessions.

i was going to loosen the band by putting it on a football or something, but i was concerned that a looser fit will affect the sound quality. i think my headphones sound even better if i push them slightly more onto my ears, and they are already tightish.

i am probably more prone to migraine than the average person.

The D2000 did briefly when I got it. Then it quickly stopped as I got more used to them. I think it had something to do with its low frequency reproduction.

I don't get a migraine from the D2000 but they do hurt my ears a whole lot more than any other headphone I've listened to. For me, they are the worst possible match, just horrible. I still can't listen to the pair my brother owns.

Sometimes when I'm doing lots of typing when the light isn't at it's best while wearing my heavier MS2i, I find that my neck is getting sore since even after all these years I still have to look at that silly keyboard! And that sore neck can sometimes develop into a slight headache.

....looking at the keyboard can be rough on the keyboard itself if you happen to be doing a weight test to see if added weights to the height adjusters of MS-1 to simulate the added heft of MS2i is tolerable. The weights can, and did; fall off the phones and hit the keyboard on a couple occasions.

But that's another story altogether.

If I already have a headache, I'll skip the headphones until the next day. If the headphones give me a headache, I'll lay off all headphones for a couple weeks. If said headphones become repeat offenders, they get sold.

I did get the occasional mild headache when I started listening to my k701s, but a few weeks later I got used to them and I can keep them on for ages now.

If a headphone gives me a headache, it's the sound doing it. I don't listen loudly or for long periods of time, but I guess if my ears find the sound just too too wrong, a headache occurrs. For repeat offenders, my ears are clearly trying to tell me I don't enjoy these.

I do get migraines, but never triggered by headphones. I mean with a migraine you don't even want to think about wearing headphones. Luckily I don't even get them enough to warrant medication. I think maybe once a year or less. Otherwise, just normal headaches.

If I wear my Ultrasones with the band too far forward, it puts too much pressure on an apparently sensitive part of my head and I start getting a headache right away. Tight hats do the same thing.

The only time my SR60 has given me a headache was when I tried to listen to Metal Machine Music with them. Yowch.

Mine sometimes make my head hurt until I turn the volume down and it goes away.

Sometimes it's hard to realize how loud the music is when the signal is so clean.

I get headaches from headphones all the time. I think it is because it is something on my ears.

I noticed my beyers are really bad. But, I do have a lot of problems with my ears, and even little pressure changes can really hurt them. Ever since I had ear surgery as a child.

But, I think Hardwired knows a good way to stretch the bands out judging from his avatar.
