Thanks for the replies, guys. That is so awesome. You are getting a freakin' symphony in your head, and not bothering anyone in the process. And I use them every day on the NYC Subway.

I love these earphones more and more all the time.

Just be careful not to close your eyes for too long. I was traveling recently with time to kill waiting for the plane and I did not hear the gate announcement. Luckily I was bumped by another passenger and made my flight.

Yeah, this is something I'm trying to work out, especially on the subway. A balance of musical isolation and hearing needed announcements. It's okay, though. I pay attention visually and notice people changing.

Sorry, hazmat, after seeing the title of this thread, the first thing that popped into my mind was, "Is a crab's ass watertight?". Sorry, I've been up since 3:20 this morning...

Nope, no sound leakage. Just pure auditory bliss for those that use them.

Enjoy!

I don't know about the crab thing. I've caught some really large ones on night dives and never thought to check. I am usually trying to keep from getting vice-gripped.

The Etys only leak sound if you leave one of them out. In that situation the one that is still in resonates in the head and amplified sound comes out the other ear. Honest, that is how they test them!
