I've found stock iPod Mini to be superior to stock iPod 5.5G in terms of SQ. I am wondering if it will keep this superiority when both are dyiModded.

Anybody compared these two dyiModded or iModded?

I don't think anyone believes you. I feel the same way, although some of it might have been the bitrate difference that I noticed. I borrowed the 5.5 and have a mini.
