Hello all,

I have a FM transmitter I use for my iPod (Belkin : TuneBase™ FM for iPod)

My issue is that it used to sound great, but now any FM signal I tune it to sounds fuzzy. Even worse, bass heavy artists (like Li'l Wayne) always have fuzzy distortion on the bass hits, while other less bass heavy artists on my iPod (such as The Mountain Goats) can still be distortion free.

The other thing is that when I touch the unit or the iPod, the signal seems to improve and the distortion decreases.

This all leads me to believe its some weak connection in the thing and it can be repaired rather than me just buying a new one, plus, I really really think it would be a lot more fun to fix it than pay $50 for a new one.

Does this sound like anything you all have experienced before?
Do any of you know what might be wrong with it and if it might fixable at home?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
