Hi all,

I'm *just* beginning to look into portable amps. I've been doing some research on commercial amps, which are typically nicely reviewed and compared, but I'm having some trouble finding information on a lot of DIY amps or comparisons.

I've been considering purchasing a tomahawk after reading great reviews on it, and especially its size. This thread has been great for comparing mainstream commercial amps:

So I'm looking for guidance on DIY amps. I've read a bit about the mini^3 and the XP, which seem like good options. Are there any others comparable in size to the size and sound of the tomahawk?

What is the smallest DIY amp?

Thanks!
George

Xin Mini and Micro would be similar or smaller than the Tomahawk, and have as many proponents in this forum.

I love the sound and service of the RSA stuff, and own both the TH and the Hornet.

true true, I did read about the Xin amps... but from what I understand it takes months to receive a Xin amp. That's the only reason I've ruled them out
