I have a budget of $450 and need an amp and crossfeed filter for my Senn HD497 -- Soon to be HD600

I'd like to get a kit, or just a guide with easily obtained parts. Crossfeed can be a seperate module or can be internal.

thanks

It depends on which parts you choose. If I were you I would also look at getting THESE to pair up with the PPA(I think there is only a few sets left). Read that page I linked about the PPA. You have to pick the parts yourself or you could just use all of the values off of the schematic. If you have more questions about the PPA ask in the DIY forum. It is a very well known amp there. With $450 you might be able to throw in some Black Gates here and there.

How about the V2 kit?

The V2 is supposed to be a very good amp but I am unsure of how well it pairs with HD600's. You should make a post here asking which will be better for the HD600? The Gilmore or PPA.
