yeah basically i just wanted a basic economy style double. A trip to my local walmart arts and crafts store got me all my materials. After doing this i have a great appreciation for larry and his stands. They may seem expensive, but the materials and workmanship are really worth it. Basically i just hacked away, did a rough sand and then glued it.

.97 plaque, dollar something 7/8 dowel, $1.84 SQft smoke vinyl and 2 something glue craft glue.

predrilling went well but countersinking the woodscrew i found with a metal drillbit really messed up the bottom. oh well its the bottom and now it sits flush.

prolly the hardest part, sanding down a channel evenly using a rotary tool.

heres the final part with the vinyl used as an anti scratch coating. Alot cheaper than using leather. Cant really put headphones on it as the glue isnt dried. In the backround you can see my ghetto stand, it the stand for my rotary tool when im using the flexi-shaft.

yeah in the backround i have a banna-esqe holder already. However i got some ad2000s coming in and i wanted a double. Putting up two bannana stands would take up too much space and i feel 60 bucks (30x2) for senn desk clamp holders is way too much. Id rather get a larry double. So there it is. I may try again with better materials and better tools just for the hell of it later. Right now my priorities are getting a nice home amp and more music.

Yeah. It's a UHC USP non-gbb

Cheap but effective sidearm. I just borrow other people's AEGs as primaries. I speant a lot more on Army BDUs, boots, gloves, and eye protection. Once it actually warms up around here, I may go out and play again.

Yup, BAWLS, HL2, LotR and guns. That's what life's all about.

And now headphones. Thanks Head-Fi, my bank account was just getting too cluttered with all those digits.
