I believe iphone has an application that tracks friends location and activities.
Furthermore I believe that telecom companies have been pushing a similar technology where social networks can keep tabs on or with each other.
This is disturbing to me because something like this is what people will abuse to harass other people; especially people who are fewer in number as far as social networks goes. There will be a new meaning to the old saying that you can not survive out in the wilderness west alone.
Any thoughts?
Adding to that, how many of you really know if you are being manipulated with unsubstantiable information. People who are versed in social networks and social circles have used their skill in manipulation into making people do things, especially to strangers who they heard something unsubstantiable about for instance.
