[DISCOUNT EXPIRED] New Hi-Res Macy Gray album from Chesky Records

Great tracks, awesome sense of space and imaging, but the vocals sound more distant than I'm used to.

Indeed, vocals are strangely recessed, but otherwise a very enjoyable recording.

If you guys are streaming it, there's definitely something going on even with Spotify Premium. Get the lossless from HDtracks for the proper sound.

It is also available on Tidal as I just finished listening to it under their HIFI level which is the 44/16.

Listening to 'Stripped' via Tidal 44/16. Excellent.

May have to download the 96/24 FLAC Chesky recording. Thanks for highlighting the offer on HDTracks.

Agreed - I listened to this on Spotify Premium when I saw this announcement (through my iPhone -> Centrance HiFi-Skyn -> JH Angies) to see if I liked the music, and really enjoyed the album.

I thought it already sounded great, but just bought the 24-192 on HDTracks and had a great morning listening session through my MrSpeakers Ether C's. Really well recorded and very much enjoyed the music. Thanks for the partnership with the 25% discount offer!

So busy trying to work out stupid Mac OS I forgot to apply the code! Oh well, still very happy with purchase. At the moment sounds better through Ultrasone tribute 7 than he1000 mainly because I can actually feel the strings on the bass(double?). No complaints about either cans though :D

I listened first on a Yamaha desktop radio (with speakers) and thought yeah, this is pretty good. Finally listened to with my headphones after a trip this week and wow! Amazing sound. Thank you Dr. Chesky; hope you keep recording music this great.

Can anyone tell me how to convert the 96khz files to 48 khz? Apparently, my iPhone cannot play the 96kkhz ALAC but can play 48.
