Just got my Edirol UA-25 and I've been playing with playback modes in foobar. The only thing I don't understand is what the Direct input monitor does? I can switch this option on and off in both foobar and the Edirol control panel. Sound comes through using any combination though. What does it really does? What is the best setting?
Also does the Edirol driver bypass kmixer? In that case perhaps using ASIO isn't even needed..?
