TOO MUCH HUM!!!!!

ok, so my phono stage was only 16 bucks

if you check my sig, you'll see what i've got, i really only want to spend around 100 bucks on a new stage.

would it be better to just sell my asl setup and get an integrated with a phono stage in it?

yar!

Michael Rabin sounds great but the hum! agh!

NAD PP2, maybe? But before you should probably better make sure that the hum is not just caused by improper grounding or placement of the table or phono stage...

well, i don't think i get hum w/other sources to be honest, but yes it is the "great" asl wave preamp.

the phono section is signifigantly "hummier"

it's grounded fine so thats not the problem!

thanks lini and rick!

I got a really nice Parasound P/PH100 phono stage for that sort of money.

Mine was actually second hand and I picked it up out of curiosity more than anything else really. It's turned out to be quite a nice little amp.

You might want to consider it?
