Wow, three days after I order and I get the box in the mail. It took me a moment to figure out what it was, I wasn't expecting it until mid-week.

Anyway, now I finally have my amp finished (I had to resort to an opamp for gain). I'm immesly happy with the results (although adding the opamp affected the sound negativly).

I ordered a pair of OPA227s just because I was curious about them, and they are staying in my amp for now. They seem a bit crisper that the OPA134s, and I like the sound. I need to get some AD opamps because I've read that they sound very different than BB opamps do.

It is amazing how much better my soldering is if I take my time to do it correctly...

OPA(2)227/228 are excellent opamps. Some might think that strange since their open loop gain is whole 10Hz (for 227) but many of its properties are superb, and so is the sound.
