Hi everyone,

I've been roaming this and a few other forums for a bit now in search of a final answer, but I can't seem to find it.

I'm looking for something:

In the budget range of:0-250

Design: Closed back

Decent bass

Something that works decent withput an amp but also improves in quality with a decent amp

I listen to almost every genre, but mostly to Hip Hop/R&B and Rock.

Other than that, I'd like them to be comfortable for long listening sessions

So far I've found that DT770 and ATH M50x both fit my description. I've already owned the M50x's, but I bought those when they were cheaper. They cost more thn the DT770 80 ohm pro's right now.

I was wondering if there were any other headphones that fit my description, and also which decent price amp would you guys recommend?

Thanks in advance

Personally, I would go with the M50x in that price range. But if you want to try something different, the Bose SoudTrue II, V-Moda M-100, and Sennheiser Momentum are also quite decent.
No DT770 in that list? I'll look into the headphones you mentioned too , thanks.

I was wondering if you've tried the M70X. I can get them for around 150 euro right now.

If the MSR7 hasn't been mentioned yet, it probably should.  Sony H.ear has been said to be good, but I haven't heard it myself.  DT770 and M50x are both v-shaped.  M50x was by no means comfortable for long periods of time, and in that sense I do think the the DT770 will do better.
