Difference between new Gilmore Lite and Old?

Is there a difference in build or quality, or sound in the new current production Gilmore Lites compared to one that has been built say 3 years ago?

I used to own the older version, and the build and sound quality were top notch. Does the new one sound better? May be, even that I have a newer version now, I had no chance to compare them side by side. I guess there might be some improvement otherwise what's the point of making newer version, but from memory the old one sounded as great as the new model.

Thank you. Is it now a new version? I just meant early production vs. late production.

Okay so one that is 3 years old is likely to be the updated one if not the V2?
