I work at a retail store and we just redid a section of the salesfloor, we found a container of McD's fries stuffed towards the back of the display. No-one can remember the last time someone came in with food and the section was last redone around 6 months ago, the fries still looked like they do when you buy them!

Yea, lol I work there. You should watch "Supersize me" its a movie about this guy who only eats mcds food for one month. Anyway one time we pulled the grills back from the walls to clean them and there was at least 3-4 inches of grease pilled up. sick...

McDonald's? Bad for you? Scandalous! The food is the gold standard for unhealthy food. To be honest, no one has conclusively proven to my satisfaction that it is food. In order to completely standardize taste and appearance, one must make sacrifices--like creating a food-like substance more preservative and dye than food. Clearly, McDonald's has the will to succeed, even at the cost of taste and consumer health. Hail Kroc!

Hmm...mold grows on moist, greasy take out food, but not on dry, non-greasy McDonald's food. Not a lot of mystery there.

I hope that nobody gets too alarmed that McDonald's (or most any other fast food joint) has unhealthy food - but it ain't the preservatives that you should be worrying about!

Still and all, it was a pretty funny observation.

LOL, I live on a farm, fresh organic food (almost) all year round. But little variety though.

Of course not. I eat McDonald's at least once a week, or more if I'm cheap or lazy. My other bad habits will take care of me just as effectively as Mickey-D's will. However, liking good food does not make one a caftan-donning organic farmer. Not by a long shot.

As a science fanatic and scientific thinker that experiment offends me, terably unsound, but a heck of a statement none the less heh. Doesn't surprise me at all. Shamefull scientific method, but results that beg one to think about what they are eating.

P.S. Isn't Stay Free the name of a feminine hygenie products brand?

P.P.S. Any bagging you see on McDonald's or Wal-Mart can automatically be interpreted as anti-corporate bashing. The point of the comments are not to comment on McDonald's, but to make oblique indictments of corporations in general. Just like enviromentalism = anti-capitalism.
