Not a great shot, but in the film it has to be a Grado... but without the drivers!

The photo does not look like HP1s to me, more like a common headphone design from the 30s through the early 60s. Take a look at where the verticle post joins the headband.

I know this is a very popular (cult status) movie, but I can't get past the first 30-45 minutes. (I've tried twice).....

Don't worry rick, I also disliked this movie, I thought the effects were lame too. Cheesy effects, bad acting, predictable to the point of absurdity, a whole buttload of one-liners, mass market philosophical spew... yeah it's another hollywood classic.
