Head-Fier
I recently sold my HD600 because the tuning on it was bad for my music tastes. The mids are very well tuned for hip hop but the hd600 was very sub-par with the sub-bass, bass, and highs (this one due to sennheiser veil) which made it disengaging. If I focused on the vocals only the hd600 was the best headphone for that but the lack of sub bass in my genre meant that it negated the vocals in terms of the overall picture in sound.
Some of my colleagues recommended the audeze maxwell so I bit the bullet and got one.
They sound ok but they don't sound as full as my hd600 did. However they provided vastly better tuning than the hd600 did as they had more emphasis on the bass and the highs were more present. However they did the vocals very dirty.
I was wondering whether I got the wrong headphone to replace my hd600 as wired headphones with amps are better than wireless let alone wireless gaming headsets. However I do play a bit of games but I'm still not sure if I made the wrong choice.
