[nakedhand]

I just noticed that the left driver "whistles" at deep bass sections. After every beat it attenuates. Sort of sounds like something is loose. It is lower treble sounding, and it´s not pretty.  I have been burning them in over night.. maybe I molested them with too much power? I have never "blown up" any head phones before, so I do not know how this would sound. I have heard a busted treble on a pair of speakers, and it kind of sounds like this.
 
I am pretty sure I wrecked them. What I am looking for is some confirmation and input on what to do. Does repair even make sense?

PS: LCD-2 or HE-500 just came a whole lot closer to entering my life.
