Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!

For those who find the flat hard headband painful for longer listening, the aiva pad from senday audio seems to fix all the issues for me. While easing the pressure point on top of my head, the pad also makes me use the headphones two slots bigger, which also happened to create a better seal on the bottom of the cups by my jaw and relieved some pressure on my temple(not sure if my diana v2 were from before or after they incorporated the dms mod to their stock pads). Look wise, it is a pretty good fit, being the perfect length while being a couple mm wider at the widest point.

Is it possible to buy this headband separately?

My head is just too wide. I wish they worked for me. I’m probably gonna go with the big dog TC.
How wide is "wide"? Asking as one hammerhead to possibly another. At ear height, my head is about 17cm wide (including the ears), but my head is bulbous, so it widens to 18cm in the area over the ears.

Honestly, I have no idea. But it your head is bigger than the average. These just don't work. They only stretch so far. It really is bothersome. It sucks.

Height and extension isn't the issue. It's just width. Try to see if you can demo them somewhere. And maybe you might fit. For me they just didn't work. And it hurt the sides of my head severely.
I can see the dianas having yoda effect for people with larger heads. As you stretch them out sideways the more pressure there is on the top of the pads by your temple. The TC should work for you. Even though they dont stretch much wider than the dianas, the pads remain parallel to each other when you extend them, which should prevent the pads from pushing into your temple. If you were using the dianas fully extended, i dont think theres a fix for that unless abyss makes you some wider bands but if you have more than 2 notches left when you wear them, adding pads on top might help too.

These use 3m adhesives. Im not sure if they will leave residue. I could reposition them easily during application, but im not sure if this will change over time. I plan to replace them every couple months as they are pretty cheap. If i find issues when it comes time to take them off, I will make another post. The pads that wrap the entire band and attach to itself seems to be a safer choice, but goes against the slim and simple aesthetics of the dianas which is a no no for me.

There was another adhesive headband that was recommend by Joe from Abyss. It also used adhesive strip (not sure if 3M though) so please report to us your findings!

A little looser fit, means more air inside, I bet it's the main cause of fuller sound.

Personally, physical wise, I couldn't differentiate between the original V2 and the newer one with more angled frame.

Today is my very first time comparing both of them. Exactly same reaction as you, I thought my mind tricked me haha. The difference is there, but only slight.
Hi, can you please point me to the video where this change is seen ? I couldn’t find it.

Definitely! The TC frame can be bent outward too. This was straight from the man himself at Abyss.
