I heard the Diana Phi at RMAF over the weekend. OMG.... it sounds amazing and the new ear pads are really comfy. ABYSS has another winner here. Diana Phi will be hard to supersede by others.

Was anyone able to test Diana Phi off of a mobile dac/amp or DAP while at RMAF? I'd be interesting to know how much of their potentially you leave on the table if you're not running off a more powerful source. Ideally I'd like to run these from a Hugo 2 for hotel use.

Mike, when are you going to get them in to do a review?

ABYSS said Diana Phi is estimated to be ready next month or so. Hope to get my paws on a production unit when it's ready.

I am using original Diana right now and it's no slouch. The sound is far better than anything I've used and own. But now that I've tried Diana at RMAF, I can't forget how amazing it sounds and comfier than my OG Diana.

My OG Diana is completely listenable through my gold Sony Walkman via the balanced output. Plenty loud for home use.

How would you compare the Diana Phi to the AB-1266 Phi CC? Thanks!

I don't have the new ABYSS 1266 phi, mine is the original ABYSS. Diana Phi outperforms original ABYSS to my ears.

Jeez, I just feel the need to phi, but why? I think the Frankenstein of orig phi is intimidating, Diana looks dateable. But I marry easy so I got to know is she serious.
