They have redesigned the pads to alleviate the potential of a fit problem. This was the reason for the delay from the original release date. I'm thinking they will also be more comfortable than with the original pad.
I'm definitely interested in these suckers too.

I am anxious to hear them. It will be a whole new sound for me because it's a whole new driver design. I was sure not fond of the look of them when I first saw them, but came to the gradual realization that if all the effort was put into the driver research, design, and a construction to keep the headphone as light and resonance-free as possible, it would only pay the sort of dividends that one truly wants in the pursuit of great sound....and that the less-is-more aesthetics would be irrelevant once the headphone is on the head.

I’ll be testing them when they come out. I am expecting a very powerful sound. By all accounts this thing is a beast in a little package. I’ve actually warmed up to the look of it. Like from a 70’s science fiction film. The black one in particular would match well on Darth Vader’s Head.

I don't believe this was shared on Head-Fi yet.

The Phi is as close as you could get to speakers and will probably remain on your desktop. The Diana is a conversation starter at a cafe. It’s gorgeous. It sounds open and effortless, very detailed, and provides a rhythmic and sweet listening experience.

Apparently, for the pre-orders. But looking at those links, I suppose someone could order one today from TEOS and get it earlier? I don't know. It does say "available now" and "add to cart".
