IMHO, DTR1 is already beyond amazing without Android. It is not so hard to imagine that, if you try.

I think he didn’t mean Android based DAPs (like AK etc.), which are fine I guess, but DAPs that look like phones with the Adroid user interface. (which I think is really ugly, too btw)

I don't want the DTR1 to have Android. I am open to any other DAP from Dethonray, Android based or not.

The most important thing remains: SQ and battery life

At least with android it would be an option for EQ/PEQ users. Its garbage to me without.
