Im sure there are tons of such threads already, but i guess everyone could appreciate a summary.
Im looking for the most detailed and precise sound (also the fastest response through the whole spectrum) whats accessible from the candidates:
AKG K501
AKG K601
Sennheiser HD650
Beyerdynamic DT880
and an odd one out AKG K271S.
Electrostatic or more expensive cans are not coming to question.
To add and not only ask from the community, i created a frequency comparison graph with the K601. I assumed that the measurings were created in the same circumstances with the same gauge.

So the linearity is known which is far from perfect whereas better than avarage, but the precision is not shown in the graphs.
