If you can score a DCP-100 that is in good condition and fully functional with a faulty battery and nothing else for $80 or less I would go for it. Max I would pay for a DCP-100 with no other accessories would be about $100, but the unit should be in excellent condition or nearly brand new at that price. The DCP-100 is an awesome PCDP and a fun one to listen too. Although I haven't heard the XP-33, I do own a DCP-100 and will say that it produce a accurate, detailed, and spacious (3D-like) sound.
