My Denon DA-345R Receiver's volume control took a dump. Well, it was a gift from my uncle and he go it for free from work. I believe one of the channel was faulty and he (tried to) fixed the volume pot. Both channel works but the left channel's volume is lower than the right and the right channel is somewhat distorted. I don't want to let this receiver go to waste because it's still in good condition minus the channel problem (i believe it's teh volume pot but i'm not sure). How should I fix this damn thing?
Thanks

You can contact someone from the link listed below and see if they carry the part you need.It may not be the volume pot-could be bad capacitors somewhere down the line in the circuit.Open the hood and see if you notice and caps bulging or leaking .I tried typing in your receiver model number but nothing came up.See if you can find a part number listed on the volume pot itself then type in that part number from one of the suppliers listed from the link provided okay.

Thanks. The receiver is an old model. Probably came out in the early 90s.

If it would fit and is a similar form factor, I would just put in an Alps Blue (~$16 from Tangent or Amb). Try to determine what value it is (10K? 50K? other?). You might need to solder leads to the terminals w/a bit of heatshrink
