Yo,
 
Anyone know a reputable repairer or have dealt with an official repair centre I can contact to get my D5000 earcups reattached to the frame?
 
One of the earphones has detached from the overhead strap that holds them together. The issue is at the pivot linkage between the earphone frame and the metal component of the strap (see photos).

Tried through them, issue is they're a massive stickler for only servicing locally purchased pairs, even though I was going to be paying out of pocket for the repair.
 
Was hoping someone here locally knows someone, or has done a similar repair through a local repair man as the issue is quite common with this line.
