denon d2000 recabling

i read that the recabled d2000 sound like the d5000

if so what recabling am i looking for? cause i prefer the look of the 2000.

As good as Alex's cables are, they cannot turn silver (nor mud) into gold... now, he can make it really gleam, but not make it into something it is not. If you do not like the signature, cable won't fix it. If you want a specific tweak, or just just a clearer presentation, recable is the ticket -= assuming the rest of the chain is up to it.

Just sold my D2000 - but I didn't get on with the D5000 either.
