How well do the AH-C700 compare to other make/models in the same price range? Any reason not to get them?

There's a thread about them. Do a search for: Officicial Denon C700 Comparisons/Impressions and you'll see links to the comparisons on the first page. There's lots of info there, hope that helps!

soozieq is right - huge thread with lot's of feedback.

The short answer is: in the $99 price-range they are the best that I tried. Everyone's audio and comfort needs are different though. the Denon's are very comfortable and have great bass and crisp highs. I love mine.

I just tried to copy/paste Officicial Denon C700 Comparisons/Impressions into the search and I couldn't find that particular thread. Are you saying that there is a single thread with that title or just a number of threads on that topic? If it is a specific thread, would you mind including a link for it? Thanks!

I've been reading up on the C700's as well. I'm looking for some mid-price IEM's/Buds/Canals to pair up with my Zune30. As of right now I have it down to the C700's or the M5's and I just cant seem to make up my mind on which to pull the trigger on. Funny thing I've found about these 2 phones is that those who like the C700's REALLY LIKE thier C700's and those who choose the M5's seem to REALLY LOVE their M5's... makes things easier knowing that both are worthy purchases, I guess

... Back to researching I go.

No worries at all, I must admit I'm too lazy to type anything out for myself, otherwise I would have found it no problem, I'm sure.

As for your thread: that has to be the most amazing thread I have read, though I'm only on the 9th page or so. Very informative, so thank so much for that review.

I would be interested in more comparisons to the M5 (other than what is on soozie's thread), if anyone has a link I would appreciate it!
