AKG Q701 or the Sennheiser HD 598 that is what I have been debating lately. I have a lot of experience with HI FI grade headphones, I own a pair of Bose In ear headphones right now and its time to upgrade to over the ear. I will be using the headphones for my home set up. will be running a Schiit Audio Modi, Mangi stack with the headphones. I don't really know what interconnect for the stack to use yet. (any suggestions?) i listen to FLAC files on my computer, iTunes, straight from my pioneer cd player, record player, and spotify. I listen to Pink Floyd, Bob Seger, Pearl jam, and music like this. and sometimes country and i like my dubstep every once in a while. what do you guys think i should purchase? i have been contemplating both of them for several weeks now and am ready to order it all PLEASE HEALP!

Personally, i like the HD598's over the Q701. It have enough bass and can be forgiving on certain recordings, mids are their strong point. they are perfect.
