Hi I'm new to Head-Fi and was looking for some advice as too what iem to buy. I listen to primarily dubstep and electronic music and i like a good bass presence, and soundstage (hoping this is the right terminology for what I'm looking for). Im looking to order an iem from Bestbuy and the only real contenders I have seen on their website is the whole monster turbine series, the Sony mx-1000, and lastly the seinheiser ie80's. Any help in what you would suggest from these choices would be great help.

You mean Sony ex1000? If that's what you meant, The Sony should a fine choice for you.
 
I have never owned/listened to any Monster Turbine IEMs, But if I have to compare IE80 vs ex1000, I'd take ex1000 any day. One caveat though : ex1000's fit might be uncomfy for some (It's uncomfy for me)
