Hi everyone,
 
A colleague of mine asked me the following, and whilst I have my own ideas/opinions that I've offered, I'd like to open up to the floor for your input please:-
 
Do you know of a reasonable in line headphone amplifier I can stick between my phone and headphones to give me better bass & control over my playlists.
 
Had look and can find them from 10's of pounds to 100's but no idea where to start.
 
Not looking for the best by any means (will get rough festival treatment switching headphones for portable speakers etc) but a good price/performance break.
 
Any ideas much appreciated please!!

I think the only way you get better control of your playlists is with a better music app on your phone.

FiiO E11K is a good portable headphone amp. Then for festivals, I'd bring along an Anker Astro E3 or similar portable battery bank to make sure I didn't run out of power on my amp or my phone

The FiiO e17  is really nice too, bass/treb options. I had one a while back and loved it
