In general, all the iRiver players that I have owned have sounded very good. My friends H10 sounds almost identical to my H340.

Ahhhh, that's right. I knew there was some reason I opted for the older H320 "brick" than the newer, slimmer, sexier, H10. Line-out only through a dock is kind of a stinker
