$21.60 + $7 (shipping) = $28.60.
Newegg: $25 + $1.99 = $26.99.

Unless you can get free shipping this is not a deal...

FedEx Ground shipping is 6USD, which moves the grand total to 27.60USD, a 61 cent difference from Newegg.

Newegg does not have the AV-710 in stock. There is no specified ETA as of yet.

I posted this as a reasonable alternative to Newegg's pricing because I know there are quite a few people looking for soundcards, thought they might appreciate this.

Newegg had been out of stock but ETA was 10/11/04. They came back in stock on tuesday afternoon and I placed my order that night. A few hours later I went back and they were out of stock again.

Either they are only getting a very small number of cards a a time or everyone has realized that this is THE card to get if you're on a budget. Either way, I payed 99cents shipping and received the card less than 72 hours after ordering. Newegg + FedEx = Best way to go for computer stuff IMO.

The AV-710 has certainly been increasing in popularity by leaps and bounds -- I would not be surprised if people are jumping at the chance to take them while they still can.

Not hot.
I got mine from mwave.com for $21, no coupon required. It's been that price at their site for months already. Plus mwave.com is a much more reputable company than compgeeks.com
