Do you use the pre on the Bartok or the one on the Oor? Curious if the Rossini pre would be better than the one on the Ferrum.
I'm not following the question but I use balanced out from the Bartok (full volume) into the Oor.

And what's the voltage in set to?
Mostly 6v — better than 2v in some cases and I read the other day of someone else who came to the same conclusion.

But there’s more: 6v with my two Dan Clark Audio headphones, 2v with Meze Elite. Nice to have choices.

I go 6V from Bartok to Feliks Envy.

I used 2V initially but then I had to have the Envy at about 2 o clock which I thought was quite high.

I find at 6V it gives me more volume range since I also have the Bartok set with a maximum volume in Roon of -25db since I have kids in the house.

Using with Meze Elite.

I would use whatever the manufacturer of my amp recommends. I use 2v out of my Rossini at the recommendation of Woo Audio(WA33 EE).

You know this is probably sensible. I have altered mine back to 2V and adjusted the Roon maximum volume up by 5db.

Shame there isn't a 4V option as this appears to be a standard amount of voltage for XLR.

I didn't get a manual with the Envy so couldn't look up what they recommended. I believe one now exists so I'll scan through that later.

Dave and MScaler was great for sure but Rossini Apex is so much more natural sounding, while still having an incredible amount of detail.
Just came back to say that this sounds like what it looks like
