Interested to hear any of the 2nd generation HiFiMan headphones you might have. I heard their 1st generation as quite euphonic - curious how the running updates changed these!
Hope they bring the sound more in the direction of Susvara or Utopia.

Kimber... haven't even heard it yet because I didn't bring my Utopias to CanJam. I did have the opportunity to compare balanced versus single-ended on a Jotunheim and the difference was startling... not just in volume/power but in soundstage. That's what sent me out looking for a balanced cable.

I'll bring what I can! This is the weekend before Axpona, so we should have some things finished. We'll see how many circuit board revisions are required. I just have a list of hopes, so I'll refrain from writing anything out until they become reality.

So it's definite. Schiit will provide an upgraded Yggy for the April 8 meet. We'll find a way to set it up so that folks can A-B with an un-upgraded one.

I think we may be able to use an optical repeater or spdif splitter from a common source to both Yggy's.
If @sheldaze has that rca selector, we can then select them out to a shared amp.

I have a v1, but it would be MUCH easier if someone else could bring one. I may bring my Liquid Goud which can take balanced input from two DACs so we can switch easily from one pair of headphones. Other amps may be of interest as well.

We could also do two USB cables from a single source.
I like making switchboxes. Lemme see about some switches for a balanced box.
