I have been looking for this CD because it has been raved about for its high quality.I can't seem to find an HDCD version of this CD,but have no problem finding the redbook version of it.Is there a large difference in quality between the two,and if not,is there a redbook version(remastered) that I should be looking for?

Make sure you buy the disc marked as follows:
Label : LEGACY
Selection # 065122
Brubeck - Time Out (HDCD)

This version is HDCD encoded. However, it isn't marked or identified as such. So, the redbook version you see in the stores is most likely the HDCD version. But to make sure, check the label and selection numer.

Don't buy anything besides this version. It's the definitive version on CD, unless of course you want the SACD version.
